History/Special Features: The Australasian Golf Academy (AGA) was established in 1994 with the intention of filling high quality golf training programs for international students. Hundreds of students have benefited from the programs available at AGA. From its inception, the AGA has been committed to establishing and maintaining good relationships with the appropriate government departments and working within the appropriate regulations. While there are several golf schools in Australia, the AGA has continuously maintained registation as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students. These relationships have been augmented by membership in peak education and training bodies such as the Australian Council for Private Education and Training, Recreation Training Queensland and Study Gold Coast.
Location: AGA is conveniently located at two of Australia’s leading golfing facilities, Robina Woods Golf Course and The Colonial Golf Course on Australia's fabulous Gold Coast. Our courses offer world-class golf facilities, combined with a driving range and a high standard of practice facilities including two putting greens, Swing Analysis and FlightScope. Students have the best possible facilities to improve their game.
Student Numbers & Staff: AGA employs the most highly qualified staff professionals, who have a dedication to teaching combined with extensive experience in all aspects of the golf industry. This ensures that students receive the best of tuition coupled with world-class facilities making AGA the leader in the field of golf tuition.
Faculties/Fields of Study: Those wishing to undertake formal training may choose from the AGA Certificate II or III in Sport, or Diploma of Sport- Golf (Development). Students may elect after the successful completion of the course to continue their studies and undertake the Bachelor of Sports Science/Management offered by Bond University Faculty of Health Sciences. A range of full-time and part-time lesson programs are available for those who wish to concentrate solely on improving their golf skills. All AGA programs can be combined with English study, if required.

Admission Requirements: There are no admission requirements for those interested in both the Professional Golf Training Program and the Golf & English Programs. For Certificate III and Diploma Programs, individual assessment is carried out on each applicant to determine their suitability for the program as part of the admissions process.

Accomodation Facilities & Costs: AGA offers accommodation website assistance to include hotels, private accommodations and apartments. Homestay is also available, offering students a unique insight into the Australian way of life. An a AGA representative is available to meet all students upon arrival at Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports, with transfers to accommodations at a nominal cost.
