Introduction: Bond University is Australia’s first private, non-for-profit University, offering a personalised academic environment that enables graduates to exceed the outer limits of their potential. Bond University offers courses in four faculties, Business, Technology & Sustainable Development, Humanities & Social Sciences, Health Sciences & Medicine and Law, as well as a foundation program, Bond College and an on-campus English Language Institute.

With access to unparalleled academic and technological resources on Bond’s world-class Gold Coast campus, students thrive in smaller study groups where eminent professors and industry-experienced lecturers know them by name.

By undertaking three-semesters-per-year instead of the usual two, graduates finish their studies sooner. Combine this advantage with Bond’s commitment to opening doors to blue chip employers and it becomes clear that students graduate with a clear competitive advantage over their public university peers.

Location: Bond is located only 3kms inland from the magnificient beaches of Burleigh Heads and Miami. Almost adjacent to the Robina Town Centre shopping mall and Robina Train Station it is a part of the Varsity Lakes Community, a high tech precint on the Gold Coast. It is also only 10 minutes drive from the lush tropical rainforest of the Gold Coast hinterland. It is serviced by Bermuda Street which is one of the three major traffic corridors on the southern Gold Coast.

Student Numbers & Staff: Bond University has a dynamic and multicultural mix of staff and students. Around 50% of the student body are international students, who come from over 80 countries around the world. Around 65% of students are studying an undergraduate program with the remaining 35% studying at a postgraduate level. Numbers of male and female students are evenly balanced at 50% each.
Faculties/Fields of Study: Business, Technology and Sustainable Development, Health Sciences and Medicine, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Film and Television, Bond College, Bond University English Language Institute

Short Courses: Centre for Executive Education

Admission Requirements: Bond does not rely soley upon tertiary entrance scores for its assessment of applicants. It takes every application on its merits and uses a combination of academic achievement, motivation, community activity, leadership and personal characteristics to determine suitability of an applicant for enrolment. International students need to have levels of reading and writing English that would be suitable for tertiary study at a university.
