One of the main roles of the Network is to provide its members with professional development opportunities relevant to the industry. Education Agents Training Course - the EATC can be undertaken on-line through Pier Training - www.pieronline.org and then follow the EATC links. You can register and undertake the course for free. The four modules will provide you with a thorough knowledge of the requirements for an Education Agent in Australia. If you wish to become an accredited Education Agent, then you can undertake undertake the test at the StudyGoldCoast offices. A fee of $400 applies and the test takes around 75 minutes. Once accredited your name and contact details will be promoted on the Accredited Education Agents database. TESOL Workshops - Since 2005 StudyGoldCoast has offered professional development opportunities to its TESOL members through bi-monthly meetings and workshops. These workshops are held on the last Friday of every second month.

RTO's - Professional Development opportunities are available on a monthly basis through attendance at the RTO Committee Meeting. Each month special guest speakers provide professional development for the RTO's that attend these meetings. The meetings are held the third Tuesday in ach month.
