Foundation Studies

Description:
Foundation Studies are courses which prepare a student for entry to higher education . Courses contain an academic foundation plus English language skills. Students may gain up to fifteen percent credit towards an undergraduate degree.

Length:
The length of a Foundation Study program varies according to the institution, but may range from one year to a twenty-four week accelerated program.

Entry Pathway:
  • IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 500 or equivalent for international students
  • Year 11 or equivalent for Australian students
