About Study Gold Coast

Study Gold Coast 

Study Gold Coast aims to educate the community about the value of the sector, provide meaningful student experiences and promote the economic value of the industry in order to expand the city’s talent pool, attract more employers and add depth to the city’s social fabric.

The organisation is membership based and represented by a Committee, chaired by former Queensland Premier Rob Borbidge AO. Institutional members include Southern Cross University, Griffith University, Bond University and TAFE Queensland Gold Coast. The organisation has more than 20 ordinary members, which includes a collective of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), English Language Schools and High Schools. The organisation also holds more than 10 associate members, inclusive of tourism operators and homestay networks.

Study Gold Coast’s Mission

Study Gold Coast positions the Gold Coast’s education and training sector as one of the city’s fundamental economic pillars. As the peak industry body, it promotes and unites the industry, growing student numbers domestically and internationally.

The Gold Coast is Australia’s favourite classroom. The vibrant city is recognised globally for providing quality education, training, innovation and opportunity in the backdrop of an unrivaled destination.

Study Gold Coast's Education Strategy 

With support from the City of Gold Coast and the sector, Study Gold Coast's Education Strategy will see an increase in the number of international students studying on the Gold Coast, produce more graduates with a bachelor degree or higher, increase employment in the education and training sector and increase the Gold Coast’s reputation as an education destination.
