About Study Gold Coast
Study Gold Coast aims to educate the community about the value of the education and training sector and provide meaningful student experiences which add depth to the city’s social fabric. Study Gold Coast promotes the economic value of the industry in order to expand the city’s talent pool. We seek to attract employers to engage directly with the education sector by facilitating pathways between students and industry to deliver better career outcomes for our graduates.
The organisation is membership based and represented by a Committee, chaired by former Queensland Premier Rob Borbidge AO. The organisation has more than 80 members. Institutional members include Southern Cross University, Griffith University, Bond University and TAFE Queensland Gold Coast. The balance is made up of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), English Language Schools, High Schools and Associate members that support the sector.

Whether you are an international or domestic student, as Mayor of the City of Gold Coast, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our city. Australia’s Gold Coast is not only famous for sun, surf and sand, but the city offers the greatest education choice of any city of its size, with ongoing investment strongly positioning us as an ‘Education City’.
