About Study Gold Coast
We respect that we study and live on Bundjalung country as part of the Yugambeh language group, in appreciation of elders past and present for sharing their knowledge, care and generosity as the custodians of this land.
As such, we open our hearts and minds in listening and connecting with the world's oldest continuing culture from whom we have so much to learn.
Our aim is to educate the community about the value of education, providing meaningful student experiences which add depth to the city’s social fabric.
We promote the economic value of our industry in order to expand the city’s talent pool and seek to attract employers to engage directly with the education sector by facilitating pathways between students and industry to deliver better career outcomes for our graduates.
Our organisation is part of Experience Gold Coast, an entity representing education, tourism, major events, and arts and culture which is chaired by former Queensland Premier, the Hon Rob Borbidge, AO.
Our members include the city’s three universities (Bond, Griffith and Southern Cross), as well as vocational education and training (VET) institutions like TAFE Queensland, along with registered training organisations (RTO’s), English language schools (ELICOS) and high schools.
