At the Australian Industry Trade College (AITC), we help your young person find their passion and then pursue that career through an apprenticeship or traineeship.
The College was established by industry, for industry, in response to a need for an alternative style of senior education with a training environment to produce the best quality apprentices.
Years 10, 11 and 12 students spend half their time completing their senior education on campus, and the other half out in industry.
The AITC’s values-based philosophy, together with an agile and responsive approach to industry needs, have contributed to significant and sustainable employment outcomes for over 1,400 young people in South East Queensland over the past 12 years.
In 2019, 99% of our graduates completed their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and 90% had started paid apprenticeships in the industry career of their choice.
With five campuses, including on the Gold Coast at Robina, the AITC is proud to educate tomorrow’s industry leaders.
The Australian Industry Trade College (AITC) provides a three-year program for young people in Years 10 to 12 that focusses on developing character and values, academic and enterprise skills, employability skills and industry readiness.
The AITC program is designed to progressively develop employability skills and achieve individualised learning goals, whilst also meeting the requirements of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and the Australian Curriculum.
Students spend 28 weeks per year engaged in a range of work-based experiences that enhance their learning when they participate in training and employment as an apprentice or trainee.
