Overview
Burleigh Heads Language College, established in 2000, is a unique school. It’s not just about studying textbooks and talking with teachers. It’s about connecting with friends, having a laugh, playing outside and most importantly, learning English as naturally as possible. Our students enjoy a rich balance of activities that include experiences in Virtual Reality, a project that won the 2021 Innovation Award by English Australia and ETS, and Speaking-lab challenges to form solid foundations for English communication.
The school is situated in the heart of the main shopping and business area of Burleigh Heads. Opposite our school is the world-famous surfing beach, Burleigh point break. Our desirable location allows BHLC to offer students a wide range of outdoor activities such as surfing lessons, skateboarding days and beach volleyball, making international students enjoy the Gold Coast through an exciting academic and cultural experience overseas.

VIRTUAL REALITY - INNOVATION AWARD 2021
We use Virtual Reality technology to create immersive environments that allow students to experience ESL content more creatively and engagingly. This project was the winner of the 2021 Award for Innovation, English Australia.

Experience the fun of learning English with the Speaking Lab. Speak, learn, and boost your English in our interactive environment. We record your voice for you to listen back and improve your pronunciation.

Our campus is nestled in the heart of Burleigh Heads. When you aren't learning English at our school, you will be exploring different point breaks along the coast, skating parks, local markets and enjoying the exciting night-life around this epic spot.
