At Griffith, we believe in, strive for and celebrate the Remarkable. The remarkable people who better our world, the remarkable experiences that transform people and communities, and the remarkable contributions that change the future forever. We know success often comes from being an exception to the norm—challenging convention, adapting and innovating, creating bold new trends and pioneering solutions ahead of their time. At Griffith, remarkable is the norm and our high-quality degrees are specifically designed to prepare students for the future. They are developed in consultation with industry, based on cutting-edge research, and taught by Australia’s most awarded teachers.
Since we started teaching over 40 years ago, we’ve been deeply connected to the Asian region, socially conscious and environmentally aware, an integral part of the community and heavily industry focused.
We’ve also become a comprehensive, research-intensive university, ranking in the top 2% of universities worldwide. Our teaching and research spans six campuses in South East Queensland, with our Gold Coast campus being our largest.
Located within walking distance of Southport’s cutting-edge Health and Knowledge Precinct—including the Gold Coast University Hospital—our world-class campus is home to 21,000 students.

I chose to study at Griffith because of the world-class facilities and the proximity to one of the best hospitals in Australia. Griffith offered many support services, which has helped my transition from high school to university life. Griffith Mates hosted many events where I was able to meet people from all over the world. What I enjoy most about living in Queensland, is the beautiful weather. It is never too cold here and it is perfect for any outdoor enthusiast.
