The Virtual Gold Coast Student Hub
30 Mar 2020
Study Gold Coast has transitioned the Gold Coast Student Hub online allowing students to remain connected and supported during these challenging times.
The Virtual Gold Coast Student Hub was created in response to the Federal Government’s COVID-19 social distancing policies with Gold Coast Student Hub moving temporarily online to ensure Gold Coast students continue to receive the services, support and social opportunities that they’ve come to enjoy through the Gold Coast Student Hub.
The Virtual Hub will provide one on one counselling sessions for student support, along with well-being check ins, group information sessions, special guest hosts and social hangouts.

Study Gold Coast CEO says: “personal consultation will continue to be provided to students with professional counsellors through one on one sessions as a vital service for our student community as they come to grips with the growing uncertainty of the current global climate.
This service is particularly critical for our international students who now have to self-isolate far from home without the support of family and loved ones. Once again Study Gold Coast is leading the way through this initiative by demonstrating that student support is at the heart of everything we do and I want to thank my team for creating this facility in double quick time,” says the CEO.
The Virtual Gold Coast Student Hub will also allow students to have their questions answered and concerns addressed through various chat and information sessions. The online facility has been designed to keep our student community up to date with the latest information while staying connected with their friends and the wider Gold Coast student community.
