Eleni-Pinelopi Tsolakidou

Eleni-Pinelopi Tsolakidou was born in Greece and lived there until she was eight years old, before her family emigrated to Australia. Despite still being very young when she left her native homeland Penny has many fond and vivid memories of Greece – from forest adventures with her grandparents to singing Christmas carols in the snow.

Penny is immensely proud of her heritage, not only the history of Greece, but also the cultural traditions like Greek dancing, which she teaches in her spare time.

Now in her fourth-year of Dentistry at Griffith University, Penny says she chose to study dentistry because she’s passionate about health and helping people and has come to realise that dentistry is so much more than just that, it’s about building trust with every patient and developing a desire to genuinely help them.
