Osama Chaudry was one 14 film makers chosen from a national amateur film competition launched by the Pakistan Government to ignite their film industry. Osama's film, Sasanity was an amusing take on teenage life in contemporary Pakistan, a country that is undergoing considerable change in the 21st century.
The 14 film makers each received a 10 month scholarship to develop their film making skills at the New York Film Academy Australia on the Gold Coast as part of their prize and it would appear that it has become a prize in more ways than one.
