One of the best thigs about being a student on the Gold Coast is the amazing level of support provided through the city’s institutions and particularly, the Gold Coast Student Hub, a study space that offers many free services, including professional counselling, accommodation assistance, social events, job support and workshops.
The Student Visa allows you to study and work in Australia for up to five years while in a full-time education program. There are many different scholarships available to international students on the Gold Coast available directly through our education institutions, as well as numerous other scholarships opportunities. International students who choose to study on the Gold Coast have the option of up to four years post-study work rights. This compares favourably to other Australian cities like Sydney or Melbourne who can only offer three years because the Gold Coast is classified as a regional destination.
